Printer Troubleshooting Steps
Please follow the steps below to check and reset the printer if needed:
Step 1 – Check Printer Sort Settings in SPARK APP
- In the SPARK APP, go to Settings → Print Settings.
- Select Print Sort Settings.
- Check whether the printing options you need (e.g. Drinks, Starters, Mains, Desserts, All) are enabled.
📌 Tip: If a toggle is off, the printer will not print items from that category.
Step 2 –Check Print Connection Status
- Tap Print Test to see if the printer can print a test ticket.
📌 If the test ticket prints successfully, the printer connection is working correctly.
Step 3 – Reset and Re-Pair the Printer

Tap the Remove button (top right corner).

Swipe up to close/exit the app.

Turn off and restart the printer.

Press and hold the reset button on the printer and it will say please find your device.

Reopen the SPARK APP and tap Sync on the navigation menu.

Go to Settings again → Printer Settings → Add New Device.
- Tap Add BT Printer (for Bluetooth) or Add LAN Printer (for Ethernet).
Find your printer by matching the SN Code (Serial Number) shown on the screen with the one on the back of physical printer. -
Once the printer is connected, you will hear a voice prompt saying “Wifi Connected”, and the second indicator light on the printer will turn blue.
- Run a Printer Test again in the SPARK APP to confirm everything is working normally.
