Seamlessly Manage Orders with Our Innovative Feature

This comprehensive guide provides a complete understanding of our Orders On Hold feature.

This functionality proves invaluable when you need to temporarily suspend an order and return to it later. Imagine a scenario where a customer enters with a substantial order, numerous preferences, and additional items to add. Suddenly, they realise they need to retrieve their payment card from their vehicle. Traditionally, you'd have to cancel the order, continue serving the customer, and then recreate the order. However, with our new feature, you can seamlessly place the order on hold.

To utilise this feature, simply tap the button located on the bottom menu bar of your terminal.

If you have items in your preview and click "Orders on Hold," it will transfer the current order you are processing to hold status. Now, you can proceed with your regular operations.

When it's time to retrieve the held order, ensure no items are selected and click the "Orders on Hold" button once more. Here, you'll find a list of all orders currently on hold. You have the option to either delete the order entirely or reuse it as needed.

 

Please note, an update is anticipated for this feature, which will entail a slight alteration in its appearance. The functionality will remain unchanged, and it will continue to reside in the bottom footer.
