Menu IDs
This article will show you how to set up and test your Menu ID.
Go to your HQ → Menu Management → All Menu ItemsOnce you have done this find an item that you want to give an ID to, once you have found one press the green pencil button on the right to edit this item.
Then scroll down until you see a box labeled “Menu ID”.
Put a unique ID in this box, it will tell you if something has the same ID as what you are trying to enter as it will come up with an error message and it tells you the item that has the Menu ID you have just tried to enter.
Once you have entered a unique ID number please press “Save” in the top right.
Then go to your terminal and the order screen.
There is a button at the bottom of your screen labeled “Menu ID”
Please press this and enter the Menu ID you have just given one of your items, just to test that it is working, if it doesn’t work for any reason please tell us HERE.
When you type in the correct ID number it will give you any options the item may have; be it preferences or upsells.
Then simply add your item and you are good to go!
