Baltic Ketty Guide

This article will provide all the information needed to setup Ketty in the Baltic.

First Map Setup

Initial Configuration

The first map should be set to Baltic LG.

1. Positioning Ketty

   • Move Ketty to the designated starting position for this map.

   • The correct position is facing the junction where the two walls meet.

   • Ensure the surrounding area is clear of any obstacles.

   • Refer to the images for precise positioning.

   
   

2. Powering On

   • Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the screen lights up.

   • Once powered on, Ketty will automatically begin detecting its position.

     

3. Position Detection

   • If Ketty struggles to detect its position, use the Red Emergency Button to manually move it slightly within the starting area.

   • Tap Reposition on the screen until the positioning is successfully detected.

   • Ensure there are no objects or people nearby, as they can interfere with the detection process.

Charging Station

• The Charging Station must remain plugged in and should not be moved unless absolutely necessary.

• It is positioned between two pieces of electrical tape on the floor—always keep it within this area to ensure Ketty can recognize it.

• Refer to the provided images for proper placement.

  
  
  

• The blue indicator light should be on to confirm the Charging Station is functioning correctly.

Moving Ketty

• When transporting Ketty between floors, use the lift whenever possible to prevent damage.

• To move Ketty manually:

  • Either turn it off and reposition it physically, or

  • Press the Red Emergency Button to enable free movement.

• Take extra care when moving Ketty over bumps to minimise the bumpy motions.

  

Second Map Setup

Switching to Baltic Reception Map

1. Accessing the Map Settings

   • Navigate to Settings > Maps > Select Baltic Reception.

2. Repositioning Ketty

   • If Ketty was powered off before relocation, turn it back on.

   • If it fails to detect its position, press Map Selection, choose Baltic Reception, and move Ketty to the correct starting position.

   • The starting position for this map is just outside the lift.

     
     

   • Again, ensure the area is clear before positioning Ketty.

Charging Station for Baltic Reception

• The Charging Station for this area is located behind Ketty’s starting position.

• Use the gaps in the floor tiles as reference points for accurate placement.

• Confirm that the blue indicator light is on to ensure proper functionality.
